The Fazenda Morro Vermelho (Red Hill) in Minas Gerais has been one of the strongholds of the Ferreira family for many years now. This old Portuguese-Brazilian family has deep roots in the state. It should be known that they distill in traditional copper stills and age the cachaça in wooden barrels. But the family recipe which has been handed down from generation to generation will remain a secret.
This immature 12 months old cachaça is matured in Jequitibá wood. Traditionally used in caipirinhas, also very tasty neat.
