Cachaça Authoral is produced from an organic and biodynamic concept of sustainability that seeks to balance all stages of the production process, from the planting of sugarcane by seedlings (to minimize the release of carbon into the atmosphere and preserve the soil) , through the use of solar energy and the use of sugarcane bagasse as an energy source, until the use of vinhoto for fertigation of the land.
Authoral is the sole cachaça distillery in Brasilia DF, the capital of the country. It’s in fact a very small ‘living room distillery’ with an extremely limited production.

The reeds are harvested one at a time, at their maximum ripeness, washed manually, processed within 3 hours after harvest and the broth is obtained from the first cold press.
The careful fermentation mixes selected yeasts with wild yeast to preserve the terroir. The aging of the distillate occurs in barrels of French oak, American oak, balm and cherry tree (amburana) by the system of "solera", at more than 1,000 meters of altitude, which favors the interaction with wood.
